BLS (CPR) for Healthcare
This is NOT a HeartCode skill session, this is the entire class taken all in person with nothing completed on-line at home before you attend the class with us. The HeartCode skill sessions are in the color YELLOW for BLS on the Course Calendar.
The American Heart Associations BLS course is intended for the healthcare providers. This course will cover all required information needed for the healthcare professional in the following areas below. This course is geared for individuals who are currently in the healthcare field or for those who are trying to enter the healthcare field.
The course is meant for the following titles and many more......(RN's) Registered Nurses, LVN's, Nursing students, Rad Tech, Respiratory Therapist or RCP's, CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedics, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Physicians and Surgical Techs.
- Adult, Child and Infant CPR
- Use of an AED
- 2 rescuer CPR for all ages
- Rescue Breathing and Advanced Airway
- Use of a bag mask (Ambu Bag)
- Relief of choking for responsive/unresponsive patients
- Use of pocket mask
*Receive your AHA card the day of class
**Also offering CE Contact Hours for $5.00 for most job titles. Please let the instructor know on the day of the course if you would like to purchase CE's. You may also request to have your AHA card laminated for an additional $1.00 fee on the day of the course.
