This course is in compliance with the following California state laws

  1. Section Title 22 of the Health and Safety Code
  2. Section 1257.7
  3. Section 1257.8
  4. AB-508
  5. SB-1299 (This law passed as of April 2017)

This course will be done in 2 parts in order to complete training before you will be issued a Certificate of Completion, You must read the information known as part 1 before you come in for part 2, the instructor will not review the information with you. You are required to read the information before you come in for the session.

The PowerPoint information is an automated email sent to you AFTER payment has been submitted, if you do not receive it within 1 hour after payment has been submitted please contact us.

  1. Read the materials we send to you by email in order to be able to pass the written test conducted at our office. YOU MUST READ THE INFO BEFORE COMING
  2. Come in on the specified date and time you registered for to conduct the multiple choice test and perform the hands-on portion of the course.
  3. After successful completion of the multiple choice test and practicing the hands-on portion of the course you will then be issued your card for the (AB508/MAB/SB1299) Management of Assaultive Behavior Training.
  4. Private appointments are available for $100.00, please call or email us to set up an appointment for your Part 2 skill session.

This course is the same as you sitting in a regular classroom based course but you complete the lecture portion on your own time at home before coming to class. The instructor shows you the hands-on skills portion and you will then practice with them or other course participants.

Please be advised that CE's cost an extra $5.00 on the day of the course and you must ask your instructor during registration for the CEU roster.
