Description:
This course is in compliance with the following California state laws
This training is required by law annually per Health and Safety Code Section Title 22, 1257.7, 1257.8, AB508, SB1299 and OSHA 3342 for all employees regularly assigned to an Emergency Room or psychiatric department. This means in order for hospitals to stay in compliance with the California State Law, employees assigned to those departments must attend training. Training has now become required for any individuals who have forward facing patient contact for their job duties.
Hospitals will suspend employees who are expired and they will be off work until they can complete the appropriate training. The Certificate of Completion expires 1 year from the date of completion and does not extend till the end of the month, such as an American Heart Association completion card.
These required areas will be covered in the Managing Assaultive Behavior Training Course
IF YOU ARRIVE MORE THEN 15 MINUTES LATE YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE COURSE
