The classes below are for NON-Healthcare individuals seeking to learn CPR/AED skills and or First Aid techniques. Such as School Teachers, Sporting Coaches, Personal Trainers, Child/Infant Care Providers, Security Guards, Individuals seeking adoption, Foster parents, Businesses, Tattoo/Piercing artist and many others.
The course content covers adult, child and infant CPR, use of a pocket mask, choking for all ages and use of an AED. This class does not require a written test, only a physical test of the skills you learned in class.
The course covers splinting, bandaging, control of bleeding, cold/heat related emergencies, environmental emergencies and much more. This class does not require a written test, only the physical skills of what you learned in class.
The course covers both CPR and AED use along with First Aid techniques. Please see above for all of the things covered in the course.
This course is SPECIFICALLY geared for the individuals who must work with children and have the AHA card that states they took a Pediatric course. Some job requirements will ask for this course specifically and can not accept the standard Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED course.
The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
